Films I watched in 2016… Ranked!

I was 10 shy of my “1 new movie for every other day of the year goal.” However, considering this just includes new movies, and I re-watched so many others, I think the films I watched in 2016 was quite enough for one person.

Last year, I was a lazy bum and just copied and pasted the list into this post. But that’s not very exciting! So here is RANKED list of every new film I saw in 2016. It’s difficult to rank films. I am always torn between what I know is the better film to what I liked more. So I’m going with what I liked more. No apologies. I also started to completely lose my mind about 80 films in, so it might not make total sense. Films in RED were watched in the cinema, at film festivals or a special screening, all others were at home.

Oh boy, I thought I’d done well by watching 151 movies in 2016! Love this list. Hunt for the Wilderpeople was my #1. I haven’t seen American Honey yet but the fact you’ve ranked it so high is making me want to see it asap!

That’s an AWESOME amount of movies! I consciously wanted to watch a new film for every other day, but I won’t do that again this year. American Honey truly is a fantastic film, it’s well worth a watch. Especially one SO GOOD directed by a woman.

Well I watched barely any new ones in 2015 so I made a conscious effort last year. Aw I’m glad you liked it too, I shoved a lot of 2016 ones at the top so it was clear to see what new ones I liked, but I doubt this list is properly true to my opinion, it took aaaaages…
