21 Photogenic Reasons to Visit Dublin

I visited Dublin in March this year and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph. Surprised? Dublin might be more famous for it’s nightlife than quaint alleyways but with street art to open green spaces, Dublin has beauty hiding around every corner. The best bit? My friend is having her hen party there in February, so I get to visit Dublin again soon! Here are 21 photogenic reasons to visit Dublin too…

Aren’t the most picturesque cities those with rivers?

And I mentioned the street art, so here it is, LITERALLY EVERYWHERE!

The quirky vintage shops (of which there are many) also adorn themselves with art and colour…

The quaint alleyways do exist and yes many are colourful.

As are those world famous Dublin bars, especially when decorated for St Patrick’s Day!

The bars have street art too. It’s awesome.

One of the beauties of Dublin is it’s small town feel and a city escape is never too far away. Even the museums look like an organised hoarder’s living room…

And there are loads of big and small country parks that make you feel worlds away from the city…

The hundreds of year old buildings aren’t too shabby either, including Cathedrals, libraries and Dublin Castle:

And this breathtakingly gorgeous library, carrying books from goodness knows how long ago…

Where better to make a fool of yourself drinking Guinness and capture the perfect profile pic?*

And even when the sun is going down, Dublin manages to somehow look even more beautiful.

Aw thanks Sam! There’s so much colour around the city centre, in street art and just the buildings in general… I know what you mean, there are so any places SO CLOSE that I really need to get to.

Loved this post! I’ve only been to Dublin once, but I really hope to visit again in the near future and explore it properly. These pictures urge me to return sooner! 😀

Aw thank you, that’s lovely of you to say! Yes I think Dublin can seem to be quite a dull/grey city even after multiple visits but I absolutely adored Dublin
